I've been using Ace MOT Station for numerous years now and have taken various cars for either an MOT or service work to be carried out. They always do a great job at a very reasonable price and the service is second to none. When I moved to Cardiff I didn't know which garages to trust and tried a few before using Ace, who like their name suggests, really are the best.
I was honest and straight up with them, saying I'd just moved to town and would be loyal to any garage who could provide a reliable and cheap service.
Their prices are great and they're honest about the work. Plus, they do it well. At one point, my car was considered a 'write off' by another garage and I had quotes of up to £600, even one misdiagnoses from Kwikfit who postponed the problem for a bit. However, Ace managed to save my car for around £200, which really meant a lot to me.
I can't recommend them any higher. Definitely give them a go, even if it's just phoning for a quote, I'm sure you'll be happy with what you get.

Recommended to me by a friend, I was really pleased by the professional and honest service I had for my MOT today. No attempt to rip me off for repairs, advisory information on possible future repairs with detailed advice on what to look out for, and a faulty bulb replaced for free. Really excellent - why do so many other garages fail to get it - great service and fair dealing gets you repeat business and recommendations to new customers.

As a 22 year old girl, I worry about being fobbed off with a lengthy list of 'necessary' repairs when taking my car in for an MOT, but the guys at ACE were so nice and genuine and my car sailed through the MOT. All the staff I spoke to were friendly and very trustworthy. I thoroughly recommend!

My clutch pedal broke in the evening; a friend towed my car to their garage in the morning and by 5pm I was driving away with a new pedal. They have a proper reception area with attentive staff, give honest assessment of necessary work, clear instructions and proper communication at every step. In summary: you can trust these guys to do top quality work in a short space of time without ripping you off. This is how all garages should be run in my opinion.
